Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship

The Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship is for those starting their career in care. Apprentices gain the skills and knowledge to provide compassionate, person-centred support to adults with a range of care and support needs.

Learners complete the Level 2 Diploma in Care, the recommended qualification recognised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), ensuring they meet sector standards and statutory expectations. The programme covers safeguarding, duty of care, communication, and supporting health and wellbeing.

Employers benefit from apprentices who can communicate effectively, follow care plans, maintain safety, and work in line with regulatory standards. On completion, apprentices are competent in providing frontline care and are well placed to progress to more advanced roles.
