Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAPs) Training Programme
Duration: 10 Days (Delivered 1 day per week)
Format: Classroom-based learning, workplace competencies, and final assessment
Our CHAPs Training Programme is designed to upskill experienced and senior care staff, giving them the clinical knowledge, leadership abilities, and practical skills to support increasingly complex care needs. This 10-day course prepares care staff to confidently assist clinical teams, enhance care standards, and meet the growing challenges faced in modern health and social care settings.
Delivered over ten days, typically one day per week, the programme blends classroom-based teaching with practical competency assessments. Learners are required to complete both theoretical and hands-on tasks to demonstrate safe, effective practice in their own care environment.
