- Day 1: Programme introduction, ethics, leadership and adult safeguarding.
- Day 2: Diabetes, glucose checks and insulin administration.
- Day 3: Resuscitation, records, communication and medication management.
- Day 4: Swallowing support, IDDSI and enteral nutrition or medication.
- Day 5: Patient observations, NEWS2 and recognising sepsis.
- Day 6: End-of-life support, SPICT, medical conditions and syringe drivers.
- Day 7: Catheters, dementia and neurological conditions.
- Day 8: Pressure areas, wounds, dressings and stomas.
- Day 9: IV medication awareness and blood-collection theory.
- Day 10: Competency submissions, theory examination and resits.
